One of the most interesting, yet little known gems of the West Yorkshire to the North West rail scene is the scenic rural line from Leeds to Morecambe and Heysham.

We travel from Leeds via the woolen town of Shipley, on through Keighley to the North Yorkshire market town of Skipton. From here we hit the southern section of the Settle to Carlisle line, spliting away at Settle Junction we head for Carnforth and a trip down the West Coast mainline to Morcambe.
