This book from author Brian Golding follows on from his long out of print 1995 book on DMU Drawings and Plans.

Printed on quality art paper with over 500 drawings and illustrations, the Southern EMU scene is covered from the early days of LSWR electrification through the LBSCR, SR and BR design stock up to the end of the 'slam-door' era. Rebuild stock is also included.

The volume is casebound to landscape format, as per the 'Pullman Profile' series, thus avoiding the need to have to turn the pages through 180 degrees to view the plans.

Each drawing is accompanied by an explanation as to type and with variations shown.

An explanatory text and copious illustrations, many previously unseen, complete the work including a colour section.
